About Holland Expat Desk
In 2010, Linda Meyer and Laura Heijnen founded Holland Expat Desk. Both have extensive professional experience in the field of international expat tax consulting.
Linda Meyer has over fifteen years of professional experience in international expat tax consulting. Before Holland Expat Desk, she worked with two Dutch top five accountancy and tax consultancy firms. Furthermore, Linda gained almost ten years of expat experience as Tax Manager for the Corporate Fiscal Department of Philips.
Her experience covers the full range of expat tax and social security services: from tax compliance to advanced tax and social security planning. Linda is also familiar with a number of immigration formalities. Besides this, she is the expert on the 30%-ruling.
Laura Heijnen has gained more than ten years of professional experience in the expat branche as Tax Manager for the Corporate Fiscal Department of Philips.
Her experience includes both tax advice to employers as well as support to expats. In addition, Laura specializes in the support of Dutch employees that are recruited abroad by their employers. Her expertise includes fiscal advising and tax compliance. Laura has a special interest and experience in the intra-community relationships between the Netherlands and Belgium and between the Netherlands and Germany, the so-called cross-border commuters.
